Coach House juvenile Summer Sands books ticket to Royal Ascot

The Coach House juvenile Summer Sands was a game winner of the valuable Truckingby Brian Yeardley Two Year Old Trophy Conditions Stakes at Beverley on Saturday 8th June, following his debut run at York in May when he finished a promising third.

In claiming victory this progressive colt booked his ticket to Royal Ascot next week and looks a very exciting contender for his owners The Cool Silk Partnership and trainer Richard Fahey.

Summer Sands was bought by Matt Coleman from Robson Aguiar for £85,000 at the Tattersalls Ascot Breeze-Up Sale in April. Bred by the Koharu Partnership the juvenile is out of the dual-winning Ishiguru mare Koharu, a daughter of a half-sister to Hellvelyn, Ishiguru’s Gr.2 Coventry Stakes winner.
