Planteur's son Plantstepsdream adds to Stakes form
Planstepsdream added to his Stakes form today in landing the Listed Irish Thoroughbred Marketing Spring Mile at Jagersro Galopp in Sweden.
He has now won or been placed in six black-type races with this one being on his 2023 racecourse debut for trainer Lennart Reuterskiold Jr and owner Stall Deauville KB.
This consistent seven-year-old was bred by Berit Alfredsson, and is out of Marie Chez Elle (Footstepsinthesand), whose dam Mirandola’s Dream (Dalakhani) is a half-sister to the Gr.2 Canadian Stakes winner Minakshi (Footstepsinthesand) and the dam of the Gr.1 Prix Jean Romanet winner Grand Glory (Olympic Glory).
It was also a great result for Planteur in the Grand National last weekend, with Corach Rambler’s excellent victory. The gelding is by the late successful NH sire Jeremy, who like Planteur is by Danehill Dancer.
