Summer Sands bolts up in Redcar 2yo Trophy for Coach House

The Coach House colt Summer Sands bolted home in the Listed Redcar Two Year Old Trophy today, just a week after finishing third in the Gr.1 Middle Park Stakes.

The juvenile won by an impressive two and three-quarter lengths racing up with the pace throughout. He continues to be a very exciting prospect for his trainer Richard Fahey and owner The Cool Silk Partnership.

Summer Sands is out of the Ishiguru mare Koharu bred by the Koharu Partnership, and was a Tattersalls Ireland Ascot Breeze-Up purchase in April by the owners/Stroud Coleman Bloodstock for £85,000.
